Key Takeaways
- TopWealth Trading is a multi-asset CFD broker licensed by the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (Licence 8031).
- Here is what that means in practice — for client funds, for trade dispute resolution, and for the operational obligations we are bound to honour.
TopWealth Trading operates as a multi-asset CFD broker serving international clients across the Asia-Pacific region. We are licensed by the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC) under Licence Number 8031, and have been in continuous operation since 2008. This page sets out, plainly, what our regulatory framework actually means for clients who trade with us.
Our regulator
The Vanuatu Financial Services Commission is the financial services regulator of the Republic of Vanuatu, established under the Financial Services Commission Act. The VFSC supervises licensed brokers under the Financial Dealers Licensing Act, with oversight covering authorisation, ongoing conduct, capital adequacy, and consumer protection.
Our licence (Number 8031) authorises us to provide dealing services in financial products including foreign exchange CFDs, commodity CFDs, index CFDs, equity CFDs, and crypto CFDs. The full VFSC public register is available at vfsc.vu; our licence can be cross-checked there.
What this means for client funds
Under the conditions of our licence, we are required to:
- Maintain segregation between client money and the operating funds of the broker. Client deposits are held in designated client money accounts at recognised banking institutions, separated from the broker's own working capital.
- Maintain capital adequacy at all times in line with VFSC requirements, providing a buffer against operational and counterparty risk.
- Operate under negative-balance protection on retail accounts, meaning a client cannot lose more than the deposited capital on their account in normal market conditions.
- Provide clear, accurate disclosure of all costs (spreads, commission, overnight financing) and of the material risks of the products we offer.
Trade dispute resolution
Any client dispute regarding a specific trade, account action, or fee is first raised with our internal complaints team via support@topwealthtrading.com. We are required to acknowledge receipt within one business day and to provide a substantive response within fifteen business days for most matters, sooner where the issue concerns an open position or pending withdrawal.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved internally, the matter can be escalated to the VFSC under their consumer complaints process. The VFSC has the authority to require us to produce trade records, communications, and supporting documentation. This is one of the reasons we operate an email-first and in-portal-chat-first support model: every interaction produces a written record that is auditable from both sides.
Products we offer
Our current product range includes:
- Foreign exchange CFDs on the major, minor, and selected exotic currency pairs.
- Spot metals (gold, silver, GAUCNH) and CFDs on selected base metals.

Account types
We offer Standard, Professional, ECN, and Cent account types, each with a different cost structure suited to a different style of trading. The choice between them is set out in our ECN vs Standard guide; if you are unsure which is appropriate for your trading volume and instrument mix, our support team can help you decide before you fund an account.
How to verify any of this
Our regulatory standing is not something you should take our word for. To verify independently:
- Visit the VFSC website at vfsc.vu.
- Navigate to the public licensee register.
- Search for "TopWealth Trading" or licence number "8031".
- Cross-reference the licensed name, address, and authorisation scope against this page.
If anything does not match, please contact us at support@topwealthtrading.com and we will provide additional documentation, including a copy of the current licence certificate, on request.
This article is general information about TopWealth Trading's regulatory framework and does not constitute personal advice. CFDs are complex leveraged products and carry a high risk of losing money rapidly.
